With the failure of Soloand then The Rise Of Skywalker, Disney panicked and put all Star Warsmovies on hold. However, Disney+ was now and thing and, without the apparent interference of a certain Kathleen Kennedy, The Mandalorian did well and won some of the fans back. True Star Wars fans voted with their wallets and didn’t give any more money to Disney. The Rise of Skywalkerdidn’t fare much better, only making half the amount of The Force Awakens. Imagine that? Making a Star Wars movie and losing money on it. Then Solo: A Star Wars Story was the first movie in the franchise to actually lose money. The Last Jedididn’t do too well among fans. Beattie has said the original story was potentially part of a trilogy, which is the current thing. It was written by Stuart Beattie and was due to be released in the theatres. The original version of Obi-Wan Kenobi was supposed to be a movie. It was badly written, featured some bad casting and was too long. If you’re a regular visitor to the site then you will know that I wasn’t a fan of the Disney+ series of Obi-Wan Kenobi.
